Happy New Year Eve

yes, i'm working on new year's eve, no half day. 9am - 6pm. Theodore drove me to work, with breakfast n my favourite ribena which makes my day

i'm so bored at work cause most dealers are either half day or they dont work. how free is considered free? i literally blog new entries, irregardless it's photo albums or entry post, every 2 hours. hahaha

i'm so pampered by everyone although boss is not in singapore. haha. i suggested that we should eat something different, something not from the canteen, something not rice or noodles, so we ended up agreeing on ordering pizza for lunch today. my salesman decided to give us a treat saying that we have helped him much these few months. *wee . and guess what, he bought me ferrero chocolates saying that's for me la! [i have a soft side for lovely chocolates n ii'm such a chocolate freako!] omgomgomgomg! haha. it was a gift to thanks me for helping him with all the tedious paperwork which he does not know how to do. it feels very good when ur effort is being appreciated. no returns is needed. just such simple words. it does not come easy, as they are much older n experienced then u. but still, i'm very happy!!

 

finally i'm spending ney countdown with one of my besties-Kristal. well, DKS is not DKS without sharon, but since she already made plans for her bf, we should not force her to join us. what matter more is we know we can be even happier if she's with us =) night out after work at martini firm, a place that i totally heart due to the bed-like seats, lovely ambience, apple martini i totally heart!

it's about enjoying the company, u can have the most wonderful ambience, the class-iest food, but nothing beats the best company!

the sun was fantastically wonderful yest. however, we didnt reach there to enjoy the whole morning's sun.

reach km8 beach bar around 1+. tanned for abt 2 hours. it was rather cloudy, so it was more of random sunrays on n off.

 

 

 

 

 

but, everyone who steps into the office asked if i went tanning. even the staff of sgcarMart.com asked me. woHoo! ppl who only sees me once ina blue moon can tell i was darker. more define tann lines, but didnt succeed in turnin to a black swan. boo =(

we ordered like 3 main course n 4 slices of cakes. to our amazement, we couldnt finished it la! say we are weak, but we really did eat alot la!

 

there were 2 complimentary food co-sponsored by a fren of mine =)

 

 

 

that sums up the ppl present for the day. indeed we have lots to update ourselves with. so happy to meet u gals  tt day la! i promised we are going to arrange another one when jennifer and ailee is free =)

went night joggin last night. i think i'm suffering from ballet withdrawal. since i stopped dancing crazily, my legs since to incurred some weird pain when i walk. n stupidly, i decided perhaps runnin makes me feels better. well, at first it didnt, but it did eventually, cause i'm feeling so much better now! joyce smsed if i'll to go clubbing, surprising, i wanted to go, but my legs wasn't 'ready' for clubbing though!

P.s -sorry babe! we'll go another night yea =)

am going to meet my lovely dancers tml, we are so going to add on a few more TONS to the weighing scale, but who cares right. i've threaten talk nicely over msn with a fren abt us going over to the place for dinner that no special treatment shld be given to us, and shld he did, he is so going to fufill my dare for him! haha!

watched SDT swan lake. was good. quite impressive. after 1 whole week of ballet rehearsals and our veru own performance, i went to watch ballet from another company. hahaha~

 

head to JB on sunday to get my nails done for x;mas. no particular reason y i did it, but i just wanna feel pretty. wahahaha! it's damn cheap la! all hand drawn, for just SIN30 la! i develop a whole lot of ballet photos there at half the price we do it in singapore. the ladies were all so young, abt 16 years old. and she was so adorable la. asked me for my phone to take pictures of my hand, and blue tooth to her so that she can show her customers. and this request was not from the book. haha. her very first time doing such request, but it was lovely.

 

it's 540pm now, and i'm still in the office. yes i know, most office worked half day only, but we cant really afford to. there are still ppl buying and selling their vehicles u see. haha. movies n dinner at vivo later. lots of stuffs up this week!

i'm a chocolate freak!

  lovely chocolates. not too sweet, and yet you dont get sick eating the whole chunk in one day. well, at least that's wat i did in the office the whole day =)

 

as christmas is drawing near, workload also starts to lessen, surprisingly. my toes are so dead from all the pointe shoe. just 5 more days, to the concert. i so want it to come soon, but yet wants the time to stall at just that moment. contradicting, am i?

 

tired~ guess must be the long hours of contact lens plus the computer screens. off to ballet at 6! =)

in short, it taste, very average. the donuts were normal, nor very soft, the chocolate coatings were nothing special. the donuts just look PRETTY! tt's all =)

in short, i am satisfied with my performance during the Sitex =)

many things happened during last week. my boss has been very understanding, not giving me pressure on the unfinished and accumulating workload.

9 more days to the concert!

then, i could have some good rest.

Sitex show is the biggest IT show held usually only towards end of the year. Started in 2006.

 

the fouth IT fair i'm workin for this year. Didnt applied for any leave though. usually i would. to get familiar with the products. tt's y, i'm so dead now. i'm totally not prepared la!

held at EXPO = freakingly crowded. this is suppose to mean more sales. but i doubt i can even sell 10 la! i'm still in my office, rushing my work. although my heart is already at EXPO. haha.

i dont work for the sake of that pathetic money la! i work for the sake of feeding my soul! staring at the computer, data entries, looking for insurance quotations. follow up bank loans... i dont detest what i am workin, but once in a while, i wld like to do something tt is of my interest. to be able to give customer the satisfactory in the products they are looking for. this kind of enjoyment, is not something that comes easy. standing for more than 10 hours a day, with an average pay of $3 (*mind u, that is even lesser than what macdonald is paying okay!!!), for fear of meeting old desperate over-friendly customers who accidentally bumps into you, and ppl who just come to ask for directions where it is very obvious that i am working for toshiba, is more of testing one's endurance level.

blame it that my patience level is damn high! or else i wld not be in the 4th IT show for this year =)

sorry peeps, i know u ppl are so gonna roll ur eyeballs! hahaha. i've bought donuts from donuts factory for my ballet frens, and lovely laura got me donuts from summer house! well, i'm the well know donut queen by the way, so it should'nt be something very shocking also wat!

 

 

 

 

Oreo donuts! so smart of laura sweetie. in fact that is one of my favourite from summer house!! thanks so much la!!

 

btw, during ballet, miss mccully (my ballet teacher) was saying. She's got donuts from krispy kremes and she's tempting her daughter with the donuts. Guess what her daughter says: it's okay, let them all go to your thighs and butt! so EVIL~~~~~~~ i shld start climbing 14 flight of stairs to my house instead of taking the lifts already!

Have always been a big fan of korean food.

 

 

A total of 10 side dishes were served. they were very different from places like the one at DXO, west coast high way and fareast. They served a total of 2 kinds of tofu, sashimi, jellyfish, kimchi, beansprout, mushroom, water bamboo and a few more. U must be daring to try how they prepare simple food like these which taste very unique =)

 

 

 

Bean paste soup as usual. very different from the few i tried. it was really bean paste soup la! normally, it's just the soup base that taste of bean paste, but for this, u can literally swallow the bean paste. haha. But i still prefer the one at DXO =)

All Hail to the Chocolate Queen!!!

(Warning: this is going to be an extremely tempting, long, and descriptive entry. if u hate chocolates, dont bother to continue finish reading the fattening post below)

 

To think I’ve yet to lay my hands on my sinful chocolate from Canele yesterday. And yes, your eyes are playing pranks on u. yes, chocolates again!

 

                   Four Seasons Hotel

 

 

Was told that you can’t choose your chocolates, because unlike chocolates shops we see outside, they usually display their selection of chocolates at the counter. For Four Seasons Hotel, they don’t. They received you order, then they start making you chocolates. Meaning you’ll have to wait for your chocolates to be freshly made, which takes up a couple of hours!!! But this also goes to show how freshly the chocolates were, total controlled QC la!

 

The first one I tried was the one with white chocolates coating on the top and bottom layer, infused with chocolate and mixture of hazelnut inbetween. I must say, for a non-nut lover like me can be smitten by how smooth the hazelnut can be la~ I bet hazelnut lover wld go crazy with this piece of chocolate =)

 

 

 

 

The second on e I tried was the leaf shaped chocolate. It was filled with something like cherry flavoured fillings. But I cant exactly tell what it is la. Wait till I try a few more first! Hahhaha. But, the outer chocolate layer was so beautifully done la. It didn’t crack like how chocolate coating usually does when u bite them. It’s not a hard layer, but a smooth, soft, dark chocolate mixture. Hands down! Perfect for people who likes chocolates that are not too bitter nor too sweet!

 

As for the last cube shaped chocolates, I’ve yet to try them though. BTW, I’m suffering from dry cough. Haha. And all the chocolates pilling in my hse is so  EFFECTIVE TOWARDS MY COUGH . not-going-to-help-me-in-recovering la. Hahaha. Blame it on I’ve got a sweet tooth and fetish for lovely looking things.=X

I think I should start changing my nick la! I’m so not surrounded by donuts these days but chocolates! More sinful la!

 

‘Door Gift’ from mr fireman when we went Canele. Very sweet for kristal fren. I was telling Sharon at the counter how lovely the chocolates were n asked if she’s gonna get me the lovely rose chocolate, cause it’s really very pretty la. I simply love pretty chocolates la!

As we went over to the cahier to settle out bill, mr fireman handed a carrier over to kristal. Turns out he prepares 3 boxes of chocolate for us la!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I must admit it was really so beautiful tt ive yet to lay my hands on them la. I just cant bear to eat pretty stuffs =)
