Sitex show is the biggest IT show held usually only towards end of the year. Started in 2006.

 

the fouth IT fair i'm workin for this year. Didnt applied for any leave though. usually i would. to get familiar with the products. tt's y, i'm so dead now. i'm totally not prepared la!

held at EXPO = freakingly crowded. this is suppose to mean more sales. but i doubt i can even sell 10 la! i'm still in my office, rushing my work. although my heart is already at EXPO. haha.

i dont work for the sake of that pathetic money la! i work for the sake of feeding my soul! staring at the computer, data entries, looking for insurance quotations. follow up bank loans... i dont detest what i am workin, but once in a while, i wld like to do something tt is of my interest. to be able to give customer the satisfactory in the products they are looking for. this kind of enjoyment, is not something that comes easy. standing for more than 10 hours a day, with an average pay of $3 (*mind u, that is even lesser than what macdonald is paying okay!!!), for fear of meeting old desperate over-friendly customers who accidentally bumps into you, and ppl who just come to ask for directions where it is very obvious that i am working for toshiba, is more of testing one's endurance level.

blame it that my patience level is damn high! or else i wld not be in the 4th IT show for this year =)

marina; diiner @ bao today. sharon dear always insist they the baos are very good. so my gay fren n i settled our dinner there. a couple of food was very good, but some were disappointing, like they rice rolls. seriously, amk central s11 serves very good ones =)

sorry peeps, i know u ppl are so gonna roll ur eyeballs! hahaha. i've bought donuts from donuts factory for my ballet frens, and lovely laura got me donuts from summer house! well, i'm the well know donut queen by the way, so it should'nt be something very shocking also wat!

btw, during ballet, miss mccully (my ballet teacher) was saying. She's got donuts from krispy kremes and she's tempting her daughter with the donuts. Guess what her daughter says: it's okay, let them all go to your thighs and butt! so EVIL~~~~~~~ i shld start climbing 14 flight of stairs to my house instead of taking the lifts already!

Have always been a big fan of korean food.

 

 

A total of 10 side dishes were served. they were very different from places like the one at DXO, west coast high way and fareast. They served a total of 2 kinds of tofu, sashimi, jellyfish, kimchi, beansprout, mushroom, water bamboo and a few more. U must be daring to try how they prepare simple food like these which taste very unique =)

 

 

 

Bean paste soup as usual. very different from the few i tried. it was really bean paste soup la! normally, it's just the soup base that taste of bean paste, but for this, u can literally swallow the bean paste. haha. But i still prefer the one at DXO =)

(Warning: this is going to be an extremely tempting, long, and descriptive entry. if u hate chocolates, dont bother to continue finish reading the fattening post below)

 

To think I’ve yet to lay my hands on my sinful chocolate from Canele yesterday. And yes, your eyes are playing pranks on u. yes, chocolates again!

 

                   Four Seasons Hotel

 

 

Was told that you can’t choose your chocolates, because unlike chocolates shops we see outside, they usually display their selection of chocolates at the counter. For Four Seasons Hotel, they don’t. They received you order, then they start making you chocolates. Meaning you’ll have to wait for your chocolates to be freshly made, which takes up a couple of hours!!! But this also goes to show how freshly the chocolates were, total controlled QC la!

 

The first one I tried was the one with white chocolates coating on the top and bottom layer, infused with chocolate and mixture of hazelnut inbetween. I must say, for a non-nut lover like me can be smitten by how smooth the hazelnut can be la~ I bet hazelnut lover wld go crazy with this piece of chocolate =)

 

 

 

 

The second on e I tried was the leaf shaped chocolate. It was filled with something like cherry flavoured fillings. But I cant exactly tell what it is la. Wait till I try a few more first! Hahhaha. But, the outer chocolate layer was so beautifully done la. It didn’t crack like how chocolate coating usually does when u bite them. It’s not a hard layer, but a smooth, soft, dark chocolate mixture. Hands down! Perfect for people who likes chocolates that are not too bitter nor too sweet!

 

As for the last cube shaped chocolates, I’ve yet to try them though. BTW, I’m suffering from dry cough. Haha. And all the chocolates pilling in my hse is so  EFFECTIVE TOWARDS MY COUGH . not-going-to-help-me-in-recovering la. Hahaha. Blame it on I’ve got a sweet tooth and fetish for lovely looking things.=X

I think I should start changing my nick la! I’m so not surrounded by donuts these days but chocolates! More sinful la!

 

‘Door Gift’ from mr fireman when we went Canele. Very sweet for kristal fren. I was telling Sharon at the counter how lovely the chocolates were n asked if she’s gonna get me the lovely rose chocolate, cause it’s really very pretty la. I simply love pretty chocolates la!

As we went over to the cahier to settle out bill, mr fireman handed a carrier over to kristal. Turns out he prepares 3 boxes of chocolate for us la!

Cookies & Cream. Taste like a mixture of cookies n cream with cheesecake. looks like orea cheesecake though. as it taste like a mixture of cheesecake with cookies & cream, fusion of both taste didnt let any of them stands out.

 

 

 

 

 

my all time favourite. chocolate. with lotsa lotsa chocolate. one can nv finish the whole piece by themselves la. dark chip layer of chocolate on the top, with soft chocolate cake infuse inbetween. for ppl who like bitter chocolates =)

headed to had ice cream with joyce, mr yang and alex. lovely cosy lil place. but the food was a lil disappointing. but i must it's a place like home =)

 

 

 

 

Crepes with almond and banana fillings. plus strawberry ice cream. a very different kind of strawberry ice cream. more milky. less strawberry. the fillings didnt taste very good wrap in the crepes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Waffle with bananas and ice cream, with topping of chocolate syrup. the waffle so not as spongy as i expected. more to the crisp side. i like my bananas to be very ripe. but they were not too. the ice cream were rather simply. just chocolate. i kind of prefer the gelare's one =)

i am not that discipline okays~ I must totally agree that the weather makes one wanna lie comfortably in their comfort zone. while waiting for my dinner to digest, i sat in front of the TV, watching mr & miss gorgeous from channel U (i think). my body started to slowly fit into the beanie cushion. but, my STRONG WILL mind tells me i have to drag my lazy bones out. if not i'll skip another week of night jogging =(

 

 

 

 

Contented and am glad that i decided to go for the run last night! Cool weather, perfect for run. But i only ran for 2km and stopped. didnt want to tired my legs for pointe shoe today =)

crowded. considering there's no much transport to this place, furthermore, it's raining cats & dogs.

Not much selection to choose from, but the traditional kinds. the serves dumpling soup also. (my meimei's so gonna love this place, shall bring her here next week ^ ^) unlike most places, the only have rice to go along. no noodles. the food are warmed, n serve with gravy =)

*Note: this place is opened till lunch only. tt's wat i heard

off to town with mr gay.told him i wanted to be an impulsive buyer. cox i've been <S> wanting </S> thinking about getting mascara, but i cant make up my mind to opt for DIOR, which i;ve  nt tried before, or my usual MAC. in the end, i bought my DIOR mascara. but seriously i think mac was better, cheaper also la! DIOR mascara cost 44 bucks, the only thing that was good was e black was12 times blacker than normal black mascara, like so <S> wth </S> wooAa!

chill at a bar along clarke quay where they have live band. they were so good i swear, n i'll definately go there again. just tt i cant remember the name, but i know how to walk there. lolx =)

turned out damn stone when i went for ballet rehearsal. i totally forgot it's a full dress rehearsal

la. stone face, no makeups, nothing la. But thanks to Cassandra so surrending her lovely make up kit tat saves me la! my toes are dead. totaly, as i forgot to tape them for pointe shoes. i just wish to wear my flip flops for the next few days la. 5 more weeks to the concert. let the pics itch ur hearts! lol! more to come!

 

 

 

rushed home n out to town with my dearest sister. shopped. but not as much as i tout i wld. cox most of the things ended up out of stocks la! so damn sian. nvm, more shopping sprees to come =)
