a very OL-y dressed day
did i mentioned i bought a high waist skirt?

hahaaha
n it's like i dont even have to wear boring-o-office wear to work
lol
met miss Ol and yang for dinner at hob nob on the 4th this month
(i know, it's pretty backdated, lol)
we were deciding where to have dinner n i suggest 3 places
one of them was the place that i bought my sister to for her belated birthday dinner
miss OL was always very interested in hob nob
since this is not the first time i blog abt this place also
called in in the afternoon to make a reservation
lucky me
cos the lady boss says there is actually a table of 11
if i dont mind the crowd
she will prepare a table for us
=D
turns out it was a bunch of 18s
celebrating one of the girl's birthday
i think it was a wrong day to go down
cause they were so attention seeking
which i dont understand whose attention they are seeking can?!?!?!
i clearly remember this scene (i bet miss OL remembered also)
the tv was screening the channel 8,9pm show
then they were showing how the japanese guy got killed
apparantly it was a horror movies
but a couple of the girls were covering their eyes with their hands
saying:
"arhhh! i dont wan to see how he die larhz! so scary! eeEEeee!"

was is it that was too matured at the age of 18 of was it them who was a lil too child__h
the mushroom soup is a must try here
because one is served a bowl of not overly-thick soup
with tons n tons of finely chopped mushroom
it is one of the better places that i've tried
=D
lady boss has always been very nice when i'm over for dinner
because it was pretty last min that i called up for reservations
she actually write down on another seperate paper the list of food available
n she actually writes 3 copy for the 3 of us
=)
i think i;m addicted to stuffs like rolls, spring rolls, wraps
i totally like anything that's made in that manner can
from popiah
to chicken wraps
hahahhaaahahahaha
ive never tried this in my previous visit
it's actually prawns, fried
pretty normal though
the lady boss really knows me so well that upon serving us
she brings this platter directly to me
knowing i'll be the one having the baked fish
(which is like the one main dish i ordered EVERYTIME i'm there! lol)
but i really liked it
have never tried anywhere that serves sometime similar

yang n miss OL both ordered this
acutally it was a mistake
cos miss OL wanted to order 3 different kind of main course
so that we can have a variety
but i'm glad she liked the fish too =)
this dinner meet up was like a belated decent birthday dinner celebration for yang actually
thus how can a celebration not have any cakes
like i've mentioned earlier on
lucky i called in in the afternoon
cause there aint much cake left when we reached
n i managed to get the lady boss to hold on a chocolate truffle n a strawberry cheesecake for me

this is definately not a place for cheesecakes
but i dig cheesecake in any form
hahaha

cos i left my bloody camera in the office that day
n i'm not in the mood to blog with lousy pixels pictures

i kind of like the high waist skirt
though i forsee it'll sit in my wardrobe for another few more months before i might consider bringing it out again

i kind of like the idea of dressing up formaly in the OL outfit
perhaps it's because i can wear shorts, tee shirts n slippers to work
teeheehee
