sushi tei on thursday

 

 

 

sweetheart joyce n i went to sushi tei after our rehearsal at People's Association on 11/12/08

chingay rehearsal was held there

i must say

dancing on road covering the width of 80km is definately no laughing matter

to think we must repeat the dance for 3 times

gosh

i think i nd to start jogging to build up my stamina already

lol

 

 

 

 

 

what was pretty bad was we were not exactly prepared to dance on the wed roads

n dancing on roads

with all the jumps

n all the turns

is killing the shoes, like, totally

now i'm wondering

how the shoes are gonna stay alive for the 2 days of chingay performance

 

 

 

 

 

met sweetheart at the bus stop at ubi before we head down to kallang to meet miss OL aka cindy n christina

the walk in towards PA from kallang states 500m

but i guess i'm very prone to walking long distance

it felt not very long for me though

hahaha

 

 

 

 

 

 

rehearsal was such a rush that the office ladies were allow to come in ard 730

while the rest were there as they were rehearsal in the studio before hand

miscommunication with the bus drivers also affected the time we had to rehearsal with the cedar gals and the volunteers from the eurasian association

the bus drivers were told to pick us back to thomson at 8

where in fact, it was suppose to be 830

can u imagine all we had was abt half an hour of solid dancing?

although the dance takes up only 2 mins plus

but we just keep on repeating as we didnt want to waste the time we had there

panting like dogs we were, after each time we perform

not to forget

the amount of sweat we pespire

can fill up one bucket at the end of the day

lol =D

we were entertaining ourselves while we had short breaks to catch our breathes inbetween

being the cranky us

we ended up talking RUBBISH

hahaha

like how much we are pespiring here compared to how much we are dancing in the studio

so much sweat just after 1 time of dancing

that we wonder what would be the end result after doing it 3 times at 3 different venues

hahahaha

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and i came to the point that we are gonna pespire SO DAMN MUCH

that all the exaggerating make-ups for the performance

such as thick eye liners to make everyone's eyes looked BIGGER on telecast

fake eye lashes to beautify the eyes

all will go down the drain

as the sweat will wash them all

leaving us looking like jokers in the batman show

because of the smudging

hahaha

now can u imagine how pretty we will look on tv?

lol

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i was telling joyce sweetheart that we shld have jap food more cos i totally dig california maki

except the fact that i'll never fail to pick out the avacodo and the cucumbers

wahahahaha

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

shoes were almost dead for many

and dancing was so hard that we couldnt go all out that day

some were either wearing slip on slippers

(as the road was pretty wet)

that make dancing oh-so-hard

can u imagine if u kick too high/hard

ur slippers gonna fly away

n hit someone on the head?

poor lianghui's character shoe gave way

as the sole came off after just one time of dancing on that road

i have up wearing my sandals and doing turns

that i sacrifice my soft shoes

which became wet, and perhaps a few more holes

=(

i am so gonna wear my converse

on the 22nd when we are having the 2nd rehearsal there!

the chocolate waffle ice cream thingy

i was looking at it

thinking where is the "chocolate"

joyce sweetheart told me it was a thin layer of chocolate between the waffle and the icecream

serously

i dont understand y she likes it so much

maybe because the waffle wasnt those hard ones

but it was real soft

a different kind of taste i would say

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the mos burger inspired

so cool for sushi tei to actually have it after mos burger stops selling them

*weeee*

 

*p.s yest was the las class for ballet

n class was so empty

with just 12 dancers

the waltz we did was pretty nice

with all the flick jetes

=D

i think we did 7 jetes at least in the dance

joyce sweetheart's ex bf has been coming to pick us these days

lucky me saves the time on transportation

lol

oh, did i mentioned

she has officially moved in to her new semi-d already?

n i'm going over tml (thursday) to bake

i think it might end up terribly

cos joyce sweetheart is a noob in the kitchen

n it's the first time i'm trying to bake

cos i usually do those that only requires refrigeration only

lol

bless us that the kitchen doesnt blow up tml
