i spent my valentines with... ...

mummy!

mummy was quite shocked that i called her and asked if she wanna have dinner with me. so we headed down to thomson for korean food!

mummy was amazing! when asked if she wants to place her order, she said yes, and guess what she says.

mummy: can i have 1 dduck pok ki, 1 bibim-bab and 1 soondubu chigae

i dropped my jaw, i bet u did too. i know mummy can speak lil korean language, and she does know korean culture (afterall, she's a chef in this line for numerous years), but it still shocked me when she placed the orders in their language effortlessly. omgomgomg

the starters, kimchi, tofu, potato, cucumber, beansprout n veggies. let me introduce the foreign language that was written above to clear that big question in your heads.

1. this is bibim-bab (this is one thing i know too la!) = assorted vegetable & fried eff on top of rice in clay bowl

2. Soondubu Chigae=watery bean curo stew with egg

3. Dduck pok Ki=stir fried rice cake with sweet & hot chilly sauce. lovely =)
