the long awaited entry - Performance at Victoria Theatre =D

Venue - Victoria Theatre
Date - 09/11/08
Dancers - Samantha, Peili, Jaclyn, Cassandra, Laura, Jacqueline, Bernette, Christina, Julia n I

Miss McCully's dancers were asked to be the guest performers for the performance held at victoria theatre.
very honoured we are
definately

yesyes
i'm the girl in the middle in the above picture
i asked cindy why she guess that was me
she said:
the one nearest looks too fair to be u
-_______________-"

i suppose the day didnt start out well
despite rushing down from the school
julia n laura missed the chinese dance item's rehearsal
n not to mentioned
i think we were quite pissed off with the
"banging of our door"
and
"asking us to hurry up n get our ass up to the stage"
hahahahaa
okay okay
that sounds exaggerating
but girls who were there
should know very well what exactly happened
lol

from left:
christina (purple), laura (black), me (black), jacqueline (black), bernette (brown), julia (red), samantha (black), cassandra (maroon), peili (black), jaclyn (black)

and of course
that definately didnt manage to dampen our super high spirits
we were busy
camwhoring
i mean hardworkingly working out our steps at backstage
teeheehee
but that was all during the interval of the run through
which we got "nagged" by _________

the reason we had so much time to camwhore
was because the whole performance was on this singing group
who helds their annual performance
n for this year
we were invited as guest performers for 2 items
thus
we have so much time at the back stage
=)

(from left, cassandra, jacqueline, cassandra, jaclyn)

one of the lady actually ordered tao huey for all the performers involved in this concert
=)
how sweet of her seriously
not to forget,
there's another lady
who was the apple supplier of the day!

*e cast for the chinese dance
(from left: me, christina, julia, sam, bernette, laura)

i think we all looked like vietnamese wives can!!!
wahahahaha
this costume was passed down from my teacher's era can!!!
we bet the dancers then were all like damn tall
*p.s look at the amt of extra cloth we have at the feet =X

i think miss mccully plans her outfit with us in mind
so we all look matching as her students
lol

n as usual
i got my girls food so as they will not be hungry
so this time round
i got them donuts
(*refer to previous post)
from donut empire
got them after eating at one twenty six
where richard drove me to randomly get donuts from places nearest to east coast
hahahaha
wanted donut factory initially
cause i wanted to get julia her milkshake
but the timing was too rushed
=(

the collection of the donut girls
=D
*missed out peili as she was rushing off to the airport after the item*

miss sunshine n i

laura aka miss tham n i

chiristina n i

small jac n i

initially i wanted to wait for cass's video on the chinese item we did that day
but i think it'll take some time
so i better post up this entry befores it gets moudly in my draft entry
lol

partly because this was a super backdated entry
that i can hardly remember what i wanted to blog about already
like they say
pictures paints a thousand words
so i shall let all the pictures do the talking
=D

after we finished our spanish item
we've got hell lots of time before the finale
thus
u can see tons of cranky pictures taken
=D

not to forget
i have cass "wanting" to "PROPOSE" to me!
wahahahaha
*note: julia's expression in the back
lol
she was the one tt was "acting" to object the proposal
wahahahaha

before i end this entry
let me give a very good suggestions to days when the MRT train are very crowded

*not advisable for kids

*and adults too

*try it only if u are this good

in this way
u can save so much more spaces!
lol

thank u julia
for entertaining us
thank u all who made the performance a success
it was real nice dancing with u gals
=D
love u gals
more spanish to come!
*i hope*

richard n i are like always meet for brunch
(if u realised)
it's like he's my sunday brunch khaki already la
hahahaha
but the good thing are
i DO NOT have to sacrifice my only sleep in morning
i DO NOT have to think where i wan to go
i DO NOT have to dig my wardrobe for clothes to fit the occasion/.venue
once i hop in the car
he'll based on how i am dress for that day
and decides where to go
for example
if i'm in shorts n flip flop
he prolly wont bring me to places that have dress code la
lol

*but i learnt my lesson*
i shall tie my hair the next time i meet him on a windy day
it sucks when u just washed your hair in the morning
then u hop into the car
n when the owner loves his car "cover-less"
n the bloody wind just messed up your whole hair
making all your hair tangled up with the strong wind
u just wanna kill yourself
but yet
because u get so much of your favourite Vitamin D (sun)
u do not want to ask the owner to "cover - up " his car
damn
how indecisive we women can be

i totally heart this one that i had that day
was still worried it gonna taste like carbonara
but it didnt
i HATE carbonara
i just CANT STAND the milky feeling~
but this is oh so nice
taste of a lil white wine
yet it does not taste milky
if u ever wants to go there
this is a so must-try la!
hahaha

oh oh oh
i think GPS can be real smart
i wanted to get donuts for all my gfs
as we're having the perfomance at Victoria Theatre
worried that they'll be famished
richard suggested donut factory @ raffles
since it's near Victoria Theatre
randomly
he keyed in donuts in the GPS system
n
a few places were shown
which was rather nearby
so we went there la!
how smart

the entry on the performance is gonna take real long
sorry dancers if u're waiting for my pic
lol
i know i'm super inefficient for the VERY FIRST TIME

meanwhile
let your imaginations run wild
with one of the pics i totally dig
*guess which is me?*
teeheehee

dks + jeanjean

had a mini gathering on 07/11/08 at sharon darling's house
i think we all got sick of eating out
thinking where else we can dine
so
dining at our houses seems like a trend these days
=)

met up with jeanjean at amk before heading over to sharon's house for dinner
sharon darling was so adorable can
reason being:
she asked us to appear at her doorstep only after 8pm
as she is preparing the food at home
but i told her we can go over there first
she insisted she wants to prepare dinner for us HERSELF!
haha
silly girl i have
=)

i totally dig simple food like that at times
we were given a choice of either mushroom soup or chicken soup
if u think preparation was oh-so-simple because it was purely pouring out what's in the can
u are prolly thinking that's how u will do it
lots n lots of mushroom were finely chopped
to throw into the mushroom soup to make the yummilicious soup of the day
=)
not to forget the bread
with the skin cut off
because her precious doesnt take bread skin
teeheehee

n guess what
i actually asked for more lettuces
=)

be it just a simple meal
what counts more is the heart n effort
it's the company that counts more than everything else

did i mentioned while waiting for jeanjean at amk hub
i went to bodyshop to grab some stuffs
and this lady that was working there
asked me THIS  (i-cant-believe-someone-actually-asked) question

the conversation between the lady and me
 hi hi
     are u in anyway.. erm...
     related to.. erm..
belinda lee?

how "cool" isnt it
i never expect people to ACTUALLY asked this question can?!?!?
i mean it's often i see ppl leaving comments on how much i looked like her
but to me
it's prolly because photos n their angles
this time
i nearly jaw-dropped

n when i told mummy abt this
guess what mummy says:
u should tell her yes ma
then ask her for discount
-_________________________-"
how typical auntie would response isnt it

caifu aka sharon's boyfriend was real sweet
he actually bought soup for sharon
n delivered it to her house
hahhaha
not to mentioned
he even offered to drive us to where we wanted to go
n offered to pick up back home
=)
but of course
that didnt happened
because kristal n her guy came to pick us up to chomp chomp for chilling out

we went to ice cube as most of us didnt really feel like eating
n we can feel that the  bread still swimming in out stomach
lol

jeanjean n i asked sharon on her new LV bag
expecting it was gift from caifu
n she replied it was a xmas present!
seems like everyone's receiving early xmas present
did xmas come early this year?
lol

*jingle bells, jingle bells*

i think i'm quite loss for words these days
partly because i know i have to post up the hundreds of pictures took on the performance some of the dancers n i did on 09/11/08
thus i'm like cutting short my entry
in order to hurry up n get done with the previous outdated post
haahaha

*p.s  it will take some time before ___________ get used to the change

walked thru the  compact fish market and enter the intimate bistro
seating 50
welcoming with its mediterraneon decor and open kitchen
not neglecting a 20 seater alfresco dining
i was surprise this place was pretty crowded on a sunday afternoon
in fact i was put on waiting list for a while before they actually found a seat to place my friend n i

the fish market opens 11am - 10pm
the bistro serves lunch 12 - 230pm
and dinner 630 - 10pm
lucky for my friend and i as we met ard 1+ at my hse
before driving off to greenwood avenue
reaching there nearly 2pm

this place opens even on public holiday
but reservations are recommended for weekend nights and eve of PH as you wouldnt want to disappoint your date or your friends

dress code is casual
thus this makes a good place to chill
especially with the setting of the place
a great place to relax, unwind
and enjoy the bounty of the sea at it's best
=)

thereafter
we went to national museum
to watch a japanese animation screening
tickets offered by my friend's friend
as we were slightly early
my starting-to-know-i-crave-sweet-stuffs friend suggested some coffee/tea/cakes at this cafe
NOVUS

the oreo cheesecake that taste
o-so-normal
but i had this drink named [love juice]
which consist of strawberries, peach, and orange i think
damn nice la
n that glass of drink costed 20+
when his earl grey's even cheaper than my drink la

ballet's resume to only sunday for now
but rehearsal's for chingay should be getting more intense i suppose
anyway
HAPPY BIRTHDAY miss OL aka CINDY!!
we're so gonna meet on wednesday with yang
n sharon darling on thursday for my shopping at haji
