Eugene's wedding dinner - 240508

ballet was a lil cranky on sat.
things were okay during the barre
but when we went to center
she started to nag the other students of their footwork
and the more she nags, the angrier she gets
thus, some of the students got scolded real badly =(


as much as i tried to console them, seeing the poor lil eyes swollen from the crying
there's only this much i can try to make them feel better,
because i think they dont know i do know how they feel





salesman came to pick me up from ballet so that we can head to the wedding dinner at sheraton towers.
it was a car dealer's wedding dinner, yet again =)

she is so so so photogenic la~

it makes any women wants to get married la~
then eric suggested:
"y not u go find a pretty guy, ask me to take such photos with u can already"

it will not produce photos with such substances as there's no chemistry what






we were assigned to table 34, together with a few people of our trade







i must say the setting of lighting for this ballroom was lovely, dim, but cosy
oh, did i mention it was held at sheraton towers?

the menu of the 9 course dinner




1. Delux Traditional hors d oeuvre
(combination of suckling pig, prawn salad, vegetarian goose & drunken chicken garnished with jelly fish)














2. Shark's fin soup with crabmeat








3. Sliced abalone with sea cucumber n hong kong seasonal vegetables













4. Steamed soon hock "Hong Kong" style













5. Sauteed prawns with walnut, celery in x.o sauce with deep fried scallops coasted with taro








6. Roast Pi Pa Duck







7. Stewed winter melon with assorted fungus and mushroom topped  with carrot sauce.



(as usual, we didnt stay thru the whole dinner. we left after the 7, partly because we were too full, partly because we were too tired. thus, the last 2 dishes do not have any pictures)

(lily bud, dried longan, red dates, ginko nuts and lotus seed in syrup)










we waited till the bride n groom comes round the table, to have pictures taken, before we left.
i think the camera loves the bride
because, she always seems to be the main focus in most of the pictures
whereby, i did not purposely do tt
haha

the toilet was beautiful la!
all it lacks was a sofa, n i guess u'll find more ppl chilling in the toilet than the lounge area
hahha

this is what i wore to the dinner
i decided to bun up my hair as i felt my typical hairband look looks inappropriate for the dinner
and when, i un-bun my hair after reaching home
this is how it's gonna look

i look better in straight hair,
so dont ask me to curl my haif
cause we know
it wont suit me
