shopping. dim sum eating with sweets

met my sis as i told her i wanted to bring her the try the eggy egg tarts at marina =)









after a short shopping craze at haji
we headed down to raffles shopping center
as i wanted to pop by n say hi to kristal darling
n to see if work was fine for  her =)



my lovely lil one was craving for ochacha
n she keep saying
'Ochacha Ochacha Ochacha"

it was some japanese green tea thingy la
that i totally does not appreciates









a high waist black belt
n a pair of white with black velvet open toe heels
all at haji lane within that half an hour
shopping just seems to be an all girls forte










the unique thing abt this japanese green tea shop is
they dont just boil green tea like those bubble tea or canned drinks
they actually grind the tea leaves up
all done manually
tt explains y they are selling near 5 bucks for a small glass of green tea










the powdered green tea is then pour into a shaker
(the ones tt we see when mixing the bubble tea)
then the mixture is poured back into the bowl
then into the glass of ice









the gal who doesnt give a damn abt giving 'face' to the sister
when i met her at eunos
i was greeted with a pinch on my nose
for making her wait for me
what a lovely lil one i have










it was a day to accompany my sis to get her fren a bday gift
n we managed to did some very short, swift n effective shopping at marina











when the clock strikes 9
it was time for dinner
at the place which serves the eggy egg tart
just in case u cant remember
thinking im like always eating
n can t remember which exact post im talking abt
this is the ONE










while my sis is talking on the phone abt her fren's bday surprise for her classmates tml

then i said
"i came here for the egg tarts n u're telling me u dont have them"
*note - i was saying it in a real nice tone alright!
then the super nice manager went into the kitchen n check for me
in the end,
the assistant chef agreeded to do for us
teeheehee =)











although i felt the one done by the main chef was better
but i should be real thankful that they kitchen bothers to do just for us la!

serves with prawn salad
very crisp on the outside
n the prawns are very fresh
















Steamed Prawn dumplings





not one of the best i've eaten so far
the skin was not very smooth, and can be thiner
but the sweetness of the prawns linger in the mouth









Steamed Chives Dumplings




not too bad!
if u hate chives, i recommend u skip this
as u can see, it is filled up with chives
but the amazing thing was u hardly taste the veggy-fied taste!

i think the ones at ding tai feng is better =)
i thought i seems to taste the meaty taste, which i dont really fancy

but i think there's are good
the wanton skin is not made very sticky
n the filling was made with generous number of prawns compared to meat!

went night jogging on monday
there's this "uncle"
wearing tee shirt, berms n slippers
strapped on a waist pouch seating at the benches
then i started running
n he started running too
i dont believe he came there to jog in such "jogging attire" la!
half a round, he stopped n had no stamina
then i did my second round
when i jogged past him
he will start to jog also
but he will still stopped halfway panting
then i think he gave up, sat on the benches
after 5 round
i went to do my sit ups
n he "moved" from the benches
the where i was doing my sit up
n he was like sitting there staring at me
wtf~
then another guy came over
so the "uncle" moved his butt back to the benches
thank god
