it's damn nice la! the smaller ones are the char siew ones. damn nice la. the fillings are like yummilicious. before this, i usually eat my char siew pau by emptying half of the filling cause the taste too char siew-ey. haha. what i meant was it taste either too overcooked, or not cooked long enough. but for this, it was so nice la! i've yet to tried the bigger one, which is shark's fin pau. wohoooo! save the best for the last =)
*Note: pau is sponsored by the boss of first carmart =)
i think i'm having the syndromes of too much wisom wisdom tooth! If hearing stories of extracting wisdom tooth is not scary enough, i went to surf the net. and guess what! it's worst then saw III la!
Risks
After a wisdom tooth is removed, you may experience:
- Pain and swelling in your gums and tooth socket where the tooth was removed. (Fuck)
- Bleeding that won't stop for about 24 hours. (WTF)
- Difficulty with or pain from opening your jaw.
- Slow-healing gums.
- Damage to existing dental work, such as crowns or bridges, or to roots of a nearby tooth. (luggy best!)
- A painful inflammation called dry socket, which happens if the protective blood clot is lost too soon. (what else more )
- Numbness in your mouth and lips after the local anesthetic wears off, due to injury or inflammation of nerves in the jaw.
- Rare side effects, including:
- Numbness in the mouth or lips that does not go away.
- A fractured jaw if the tooth was firmly attached to the jaw bone.
- An opening into the sinus cavity when a wisdom tooth is removed from the upper jaw.
What To Expect After Surgery
In most cases, the recovery period lasts only a few days. Take painkillers as prescribed by your dentist or oral surgeon. The following tips will help speed your recovery.
- Bite gently on the gauze pad periodically, and change pads as they become soaked with blood. Call your dentist or oral surgeon if you still have bleeding 24 hours after your surgery.
- While your mouth is numb, be careful not to bite the inside of your cheek or lip, or your tongue. (like i can tell my teeth, dont ACCIDENTALLY bite them)
- Do not lie flat. This may prolong bleeding. Prop up your head with pillows. (this is so funny la!
- Try using an ice pack on the outside of your cheek for the first 24 hours. You can use moist heat-such as a washcloth soaked in warm water and wrung out-for the following 2 or 3 days. (i think i'll get a long MC with this ADVICE)
- Relax after surgery. Physical activity may increase bleeding. (dammit! no ballet)
- Eat soft foods, such as gelatin, pudding, or a thin soup. Gradually add solid foods to your diet as healing progresses. (woHoo, i'm back to basic, be a baby!)
- Do not use a straw for the first few days. Sucking on a straw can loosen the blood clot and delay healing. (let's be man, drink from ur glass)
- After the first day, gently rinse your mouth with warm salt water several times a day to reduce swelling and relieve pain. (bless u if u have ulcers in ur mouth)
- Do not smoke for at least 24 hours after your surgery. The sucking motion can loosen the clot and delay healing. In addition, smoking decreases the blood supply and can bring germs and contaminants to the surgery area. (bless me, i do not belong to this category!!!hehehe)
- Avoid rubbing the area with your tongue or touching it with your fingers. (cant! doesnt ur tongue roll ard in your mouth?!?!?!)
- Continue to brush your teeth and tongue carefully. (like real real real careful la!)
Your dentist will remove the stitches after a few days, if needed. (tt's the last thing i wan to hear! i dont even wan to see the dentist that cause me pain for the past few days already la!)
tell me, how to feel more assured that it is really NOT-THAT-PAIN! okay, i know this is an extremely boring post with no interesting pics (unless u wan me to take a photo of the i-think-it-is-wisdom-tooth tooth and post it, but i doubt u can see it, cause probably the camera cant snap anything beside red gums and tongue. hahahaha) i'm just being whiny, cause i've not collected my phone from nokia care, n i've been going everything fun! but no pictures, so it feels damn lousy!!!! n despite i have so much problem in chewing, i am still eating good food as before! shoping spree did not stop although the pain is affecting my brain n my mood! wahahaha! korea fest tonight! i promise i'll bring life back to my blogs with lotsa photos! dont u dare complain u get sick of seeing food n me okay!!!
