tuesday's ballet class

Ballet was so good last night. the last exercise on the bar was my fav.  Balancing n more balancing. haha. i made cindy remember the whole 2 waltz we did in the center so that i can blog abt what we did. and also, to spite motivate mr yang to come! haha

First exercise

Start Croisé.

Grand Battement Devant. Grand Battement Devant. (refer to picture --->)

Sissonne ouverte. 

Pas de bourrée to en Face.

Assemblé en tournant. (twirl in the air)

Glissade. Assemblé Battu. (glide sideways, then beat using back leg, ending with leg in front)

Glissade. Assemblé Battu.

Step Derrière and prepare.

Pirouette piquée. Pirouette piquée.

Pas de basque. Pas de basque.* (turning in fifth postition on demi pointe, stepping off from preparation)

Chaînés … … [turns turns turns turns =) ]

*totally loves these fast turns la! managed to do 4 chaines =) am so proud of myself!

Second Exercise

Start Croisé.

Preparatoy step: Chassé devant

Ballotté développés devant. Ballotté développés derrière.

Pas de bourrée. Grand Jeté en avant.

Pas de bourrée. Grand Jeté en avant.

Piquée* arabasque. Fondu.

Jeté entrelacé . Jeté entrelacé.

Pas de bourrée to fifth.

Pirouette en dadans. Pirouette en dadans. (turns)

Balancé en Arrière. Balancé en Arrière. Balancé en Arrière. Balancé en Arrière.

Coupé Chassé Pas de bourrée Glissade flick grand Jeté.

Run off… …

i bet many ppl wld be scratching their heads, haha. but dancers wld definately understand =) more big waltz on tuesday class pls!! hehehe. oh ya, am going to watch the dance performance by SDT end of this month [Giselle in the Park] @ fort canning park =)

abt the dance:
