hey people! it took me the whole of monday to load it into photobuket
so tt i can resize all the pictures to fit into multiply la!
the diner was held @ fort canning; the legend
the uber sexy toilet.
i had a room all to myself!

in a freaking big room like this
that was all before i decided to tie up my hair
which was suggested by the gals
the pretty babe that stepped for a while =)
cam whoring always bond 2 strangers together
i mean, ladies. haha

55th EOCC Commissioning Ball
the liveband of the day
they were very good i swear
they sang familiar songs by olivia
songs like L-O-V-E and many many well know jazz songs
deluxe cold cut combination
roasted duck, top shell in thai sauce, spring roll, jelly fish & japanese octopus
Braised Shark's Fin soup with golden mushroom & crabmeat
Deep-Fried Prawns with Wasabi Mayonnaise
lionel and his primary school friends
Deep - Fried Soon Hock with Superior Soya Sauce
Braised Chinese Mushroom with Seasonal Vegetables in Oyster Sauce
Roasted Crispy Chicken with Garlic
Dan Koh (if i didnt rememeber his name wrongly)
was the guest performer for the night
he started off 'playing with fire'
that grabs all the attention, away from the food
yes, your eyes are not playing tricks on u
he is indeed 'swallowing fireballs!'
n was so stunned for words when i exactly see it with my own eyes la
i mean we often see it from tv
but seeing is believeing
haha
he then showed us a 'survival tip'
whereby he wore this no holes at all top
got a man to tie him up
hands around
n how he managed to take out the top
based on the fact that even his hands are tied up
that totally draws all the attention away from the food

as lionel was part of the committee
he was called away from the table for like every single dish la
that also explains the tons of photos taken =)

my favourite of the night
as i was running a temperature
i barely touched most of the food
thus u can see i didnt really comment on the food like i always do
there were other very entertaining programmes of the night
such as titles were given to
the nerdy one
the clubber
the best singer (boy, these guys can REALLY sing la!)
the farting ones etc etc etc
the boys who became 'men'
while everyone was busy snapping photos with their dates or whoever
we gals were busy snapping again too =)

then, the camwhoring started.

one of his friend accidentally took the keys for the room back
thus we were waiting for him to come back with the keys before leaving the place
and yes,
that sums up the whole dinner
we then head down to brewerkz at clarke quay for drinks
2 towers of beer was ordered
but i didnt touch them
as we had this much of alcohol for 6 ppl
the fastest way to finish them is by playing games
whereby the loser has to drink
say im blessed with so much luck
that i didnt lose a single round of game for the past hours

the 'dates' that went drinking
and there was this couple who were together for the past 5 years
n it's so amazingly beautiful
by the time ir eached home
it was 2 plus
but all's worth it =)
the story of the roses
i was in these changing room with 2 other ladies
so they were talking to the guy
how come they dont have any roses or wat as his date
then he answered them saying there's roses prepared for each lady
in the ballroom
n then he looked at me, saying
"urs will be different, lionel got it prepared"
i was like.. erm, thanks
hahaha,
so yes lionel, ur dear fren busted u!
but still, this bouquet of blue roses is so nice
i like dark blue roses
n they didnt have forget-me-not
a different combination =)
