the pampering saturday



the weekend
we had our last sat 430 ballet class before classes are officially changed to friday 730 n sunday 600
i chose the friday 730 =)


eric came to pick me up for dinner
this time round, it was up to me to chose the destination for dinner
so i suggested club street which we both have not been too
it was just a place i saw in the magazine







it was just  a one way street with bars n restaurant located at the side
we walked our way along n street n decided to settle our dinner at this restaurant that serves french cusine
though i aint no french cuisine fan, eric was attracted by the beautiful young lady who stood at the front desk
thus he was 'smitten' to have his dinner there! haha

the whole dinner started with them serving us bread with margarine
i must say the bread was freshly baked
that the margarine melts immediately when it is spread onto the bread =)





























they actually served this specially made
tomatoes with salmon
just for the customers before they start off with the starters =)
totally awesome
(as claimed by eric, cause i refused to touch salmon)
















































Duo of Seared Foie Gras & Hokkaido Scallop



i must say the hokkaido scallop is the best ive eaten so far
the sweetness of the scallop
is so good that u can eat on its own w/o the specially made tomato pesto
foie gras, has never been my favourite
yes, was forced to try
n i dont like it
like ive said, i aint no french cuisine fan






















































Soup of the day - Leek and potato soup



i was quite hesitant to have it in the first place
cause the idea of leek is so gonna spoilt my soup
haha, but u can hardly taste them
u can only see them in the soup =)



then... we proceed to have out main course!




















































Australian Graded Beef - Tenderloin Steak


another dish that i didnt fancy
but when asked eric on how far would he rate this
he said
"4 out of 5 stars"
i bet it's good =)





















































Seafood linguine "Aglio Olio"

yesyes
i do wan to try out all the aglio olio singapore offers
hahahaha
the prawns n mushroom was very well seasoned
but i cant say much about the salmon and squid used
cause i refused to eat them too!
hahahaha
it didnt taste like the typical aglio olio in olive oil n chilli flakes
it was good! =)



we wanted to have the raspberry cheesecake
n upon ordering
the lady came over to tell us that we might have to wait 15 - 20 mins
as they are freshly made upon request
so we were like
oOOoooooOOOoo
turned out, they told me they do not have the ingredients
super disappointing la~~

off to the regular spa at dempsey
the regular hot stone was chose to ease all the tension accumulated from work n ballet
somehow my massusse for the day was not as good as the previous one
but i totally think they were awsome
for a lady to have the strength to substain a massage for 90 mins
aint easy, aint just talk =)
btw, this month they have having 30% off your next treatment
tt means
for eg, we both took hot stone
so the billing came $180 for one pax, and $126 for the other person
 







lots to update, including sunday
oh ya, sorry peeps for making u guys have a headache with me
on the dress that i wanted to get
eventually i laid my hands on one that was not posted
it was on the catalogue that i loved
but was not sold in store (at bebe)
but when i went dress shopping with lionel yest
i was telling him, if they had tt dress
im gonna get it
n they really did =)



i shall take a photo of it
n consolidate it with yest's entry =)
