spent sat n sun shopping for clothes for lionel's commissioning ball on the 21st
he managed to get his white coat, black zara top, and pants
whereas they lady didnt managed to get anything
not tt she's fussy alright~
we both like the dress from bebe tt's gonna burn a big hole in his wallet

i seriously felt it's not worth to spent such an amt though it's a real beauty
we also saw a blue daniel yam's tube dress (SIN 180)
which is so pleasing to the eye
a 5 inch heels is inevitable as the dresses are so so long
(mind u, im standing at 1.56m only)
im gonna drag more ppl there to give me opinion
prolly i'll try them today again
n take pictures in them to seek u guys for opinion too yea
n thanks to cowan who suggested a few places
though he suggested not daniel yam cause it's gonna be common
true enough, i wld say, but it's rather classy =)

omg, commisioning ball! when i was 19 - 20, every girl around me who went to the ball had sthg to talk about lah, it was like such an honour to go to a commisioning ball. some even had the chance to go twice! except me :(
ReplyDeleteanw, must it be a long gown? for short knee-length dresses, can try fourtieern (sp?, the bysi lookalike) or bysi.some ppl like joop which is at j8 level 2 and at shaw isetan. prices are $80, but all knee length dresses only.
when's the thing? u r right abt daniel yam being v long. i dunno who actually wears them. actually i dunno which brand has nice long dresses that fit short ppl like us :( maybe instead of daniel yam, try arthur yen? also all gowns and stuff. it's at tangs.
i went to tangs, i think arthur's beside daniel yam. so far i have a vote for daniel's compared to bebe, im gonna post up the dress to seek more opinion

ive tried knee length, n think they are pretty common, just like how school's have D & D, n how ppl wil turn up, thus we decided to settle on long one this time =)
