miss mynameishazel belated birthday treat!

we had sakae sushi delivery again
in celebration of missus passing her basic theory
seriously
i dont know y everyone is so eager to give me a treat of passing my BTT
when most of them says it's a form of encouragement
but it works
n i'm real thankful to all these people
=)




















no party trays unless the previous time as this was just a lunch treat from boss
so the amount of food we ordered is for just 3 persons
which a total bill of about 70 bucks
cheap or too costly
what do u think?































my salesman is a very down to earth man
who MUST have rice for lunch n dinner
even pizza's n KFC wont make him feel full
thus
i ordered terriyaki chicken don specially for him
not to forget his salmon sashimi















boss n i are really similar
we dont take raw stuffs
such as sashimi
despite that it might be one of the best food on earth
we still dont like the idea

actually i wouldnt mind having it again for dinner
(though i didnt tell mynameishazel that i had sakae for lunch)
work ended real late n i only got to meet her @ the central at 830
considering i took cab
so can u believe how hectic my workload was?






we walked around the central
miss mynameishazel n her bf, mr neh neh pok suggested kobe beef but it wasnt appealing enough to me i suppose
haaahahaha
so we combed the whole central, but didnt managed to settle dinner there
left the central
n walked along clarke quay
where we decided to settle our extremely late dinner at....

in celebration of the moon cake festival
clarke quay was exceptionally noisy than before
with ge-tai set up outside the central
which we felt made the whole clarke quay feels very chee-na-fied
with all the chinese (sounds like new year) songs
n MCs who had that very "chee-na" tone
it's like

customer service was not up to standard
i suppose it was due to the crowd
but i felt we need to try very hard to grab the attention of the already-e-center-of-attraction's waitresses

*miss mynameishazel only finished one chicken thigh when mr neh neh pork has already finished his steak
n it was effing sweet for him to take over her plate

which was closed, sadly
so we walked around clarke quay
n settle at this place

the only thing that wasnt so good abt this place was it wasnt exactly cosy
n it was damn crowded la



































while the guys went to place our orders
we started cam whoring



































































i decided to have their chocolate truffle
i must say
it is really very good
4.5/5
the chocolate aint too sweet
neither was it too thick
the chocolate was real smooth in between the layers
but i felt it was a lil too much for one person
i will definately go there n have it again
teeheehee =)












































miss mynameishazel had dark chocolate opera
we both looked at one another when we saw this cake
cause it looked like the dark chocolate one i always have at canele
but this one uses not only dark chocolate
i think they have nuts n i -cant-remember-what-else inside
i'm a dark chocolate fan
thus i cast my vote to canele for the dark chocolate one
=)
but one thing that was better was it was softer that canele's
easier to dig your fork into the cake





















the guys' choice
waffle with 2 scoops of ice cream
n additional topping of bananas
for this
i really wan to whine a lil on this dessert
there were only 8 slices of banana slices
which cost about 4 bucks!!!
n then the 2 scoops of ice cream cost 8 bucks
i dont really fancy their ice cream
maybe partly because we didnt choose the better ones
the guys chose vanilla n lavender
n we seriously were traumatized by the lavender ice cream
simple because the lavender taste was overwhelming that
it taste like u've left a cup of water in a room that burns lavender oil 24/7
n drinking that cup of water down your throat after a week!
i'm not exaggerating alright
i mean lavender is meant to sooth the senses
but with overwheming taste of lavender gets a bit too

but i loved making the one-in-the-whole-world birthday card for my gfs
maybe because i know there wont be an identical one
n it's the heart that counts
similarly, it's like remembering some details, which to you is something not very important
but is very very important to the other party
even dropping a msg to show that u remembered sometimes meant much more perhaps giving a treat after which the something have happened
be it whether it was successful/failed, positive/negative
sometimes, all we're looking out for is someone to remember the small details n to sent their blessings
i mean, if it meant nothing to the person involved
he/she prolly wont even tell u about it
like what i always believed
it's about doing the right things are the right time
no point showering your 'cares & concerns' like everyday when it was to you like a habit of doing it everyday

i went for my hot stone massage at dempsey again
this time it was effing good can
i feel asleep during the 90 mins massage
n my body did not ache a single bit
