the weekend

met up with miss OL aka cindy for dim sum buffet
after much whining of how much i wan to eat dim sum
my lovely friends decided to bring the mountain tortise to a dim sum buffet
yea!!!!



















it was located at novena
after one climb the flight of stairs up to square 2
turn left
n walk towards a corner of the place
thought it's like some ulu ulu corner
but i was surprise to see the number of people having dim sum there!
















we started off with the traditional carrot cake
what i like was
unlike those fried carrot cake we ate in coffee shop
w can usually still see
strands of radish
from these rectangular carrot cake
=)

actually i wasnt really attracted to this dish when i saw it's name in the list
but when it came
i was rather surprised
as it was not the boney ones
where i have to try very hard to not chew on the bones
wahahaha
rawks totally!














salad you tiao
i suppose no one hates this
as the sinful but damn nice salad sauce is unstoppable
just that the you tiao will starts to stiffen
when cooled















siew mai
miss OL's favourite of the day
i do no deny that the siew mai was pretty good
=)
but the only thing that wasnt really good was the CS
CUSTOMER SERVICE
they literally forgortten about our har gow
which we reminded them a couple of times la!!!





























egg tarts
i like
especially they are MINI
lol
is those eggy ones
but one can barely taste the egg taste
totally's miss OL n mine's favourite
lol
call us people who doesnt appreciate real good food
but it's a very personal thing what!
just like everyone has their own preference
=)



















tofu
something we both expected when we saw the menu
i expected it to be a cold dish
as in the tofu n minced meat would be served chilled
but it was not!
it was like they were put to  steamed
i would definately preferred chilled ones though
=D














i'm a big fan of CHAR SIEW CAN!!!!
miss OL was telling me
she was very amazed at how much i like char siew
it's not like i'm a char siew franatic
but i like this particular dish
perhaps it was because i used to have them alot when i was a kid in malaysia
i felt this is one of the better ones we had for lunch
=)

if u dont know
i eat century porridge
but skip the century eggs!
wahahaha!
like my parents/friends always say
i'm missing out the good stuffs
no lo!
i'm sure there are people who DOES NOT EAT century eggs like me
but yet eat the porridge
wahahaha


















wanton soup
doesnt it sound so _____________ to have wanton soup for dim sum buffet
dont ask me
ask the one that prepares the menu
but since it's in the menu
we decided to give it a try
no good
no good at all
lol















celery with prawn
miss OL wanted to order this
knowing the both of us doesnt eat celery
lol
it was the prawn that made her ordered this dish
out conclusion
the prawns does not taste like it was cooked with celery
lol

i like char siew la
NO LA!
i ordered this because
i feel that
eating dim sum
MUST EAT char siew bao what
traditional ma
if not it doesnt feel like a dim sum buffet
n it was when i wanted to order this dish
miss OL said i was like one of the only few people that she knows
that "really" likes char siew

of course
the ah chew dessert house's mango sago taste WAY better
but
thank you miss OL
for bringing me to satisfy my dim sum craving
i think my friends really dote on me alot

dragged miss OL for foot reflexology
since she's has never tried one before
of course
we are not in perfect health
so there's bound to be all the "ouch" here, "ouch" there
lol
well, i asked the therapist to skip my right toe
because of the fracture n internal swelling
hahahaha
u should see how careful he kept looking at me
to make sure he did not hurt me










afterwhich
i met daryl to head to town
which the intention of catching a movie
but
we ended up walking from orchard
to cityhall
to LISTEN to the F1 race
n then back to orchard
so with all the walking around
we were back to cineleisure at 2+ am in the morning
but still decided to give the movie a miss
lol

while randomly walking back from city hall to orchard
i saw my sweetheart
who screamed when seeing me in town
hahahaha
can u imagine her shouting for my name n asking y i'm here

even her gf was laughing at her reactions la
sweetheart o sweetheart
how can anyone not love u







n not to forget
i saw that u-know-who in town
never speak of the devil
wahahahaha
call it fate
i seems to have more fate to see him twice before u isnt it































had the adrenaline drink
chocolate chip at starbucks before wrapping the night up
i think i'm really getting older
cause i think i pop dead on the bed after i got home
which was around 3+ in the morning
be so glad i wasnt working on sunday
if not i think i'll look like a walking zombie to work
