we were seated in front of these freaking big tanks
where u can see all the crabs, lobster n fishes
they are like SO BIG can!!!



























started off with sea cucumber
as that was what i was craving for
they asked if we wanted the sea cucumber to be fried or if we preferred the oyster sauce kind
so i opt for the oyster sauce ones
this dish was served together with abalone mushroom
god bless
cause if they serves with abalone
i'll prolly NOT EAT it
hahaha
















then i choose fish
steamed in the way
we often had at wedding dinner
=)























and last but not least
we had the crab's princer
(if i'm not wrong)
it was so easy to eat
just like how the manager recommended
lol
it was fried with some batter
topped with this slightly spicy sauce that has a tint of sourish flavour
totally heart this i-have-no-idea-what-is-it-called item
lol



actually we didnt really order from the menu
i just say what i feel like eating
how i want it to be prepared
n the manager just take it down
n get the kitchen to prepared
=)















it was filling
despite it seems that all we had was 3 dishes
but guess how much these 3 items sums up?
200+ bucks
it's like OMFG la!!!



























jasmine tea was served at the end of the meal
to help to wash away the "oil" consumed during the meal
seems great
looks pretty
but i have no idea how it taste
cause i HATE TEA can
okay okay
except green apple green tea (bubble tea)
lol



















then the rainy night
makes missus craves for her cake at marmalade pantry once again
but knowing it closes at 930
missus had to cracked her brain to think of somewhere else
wanted to opt for cheesecake cake at east coast
then the driver thought of hyatt
because missus talked abt the cheesecake before
n since chijmes n hyatt aint that far
we chose the latter in the end

















i bet the waitress must be thinking
why would people come here for cakes at this kind of time
but lucky us
as we were told the kitchen preparing cakes closes at 1030
not wanted to miss the cakes
we placed our orders at 1020pm
=)















the cold night was soon warmed up with the lovely hot chocolate
n taste oh so lovely
not too sweet
of the right thickness
how much more can the missus fuss over this silly craving for hers for sweet stuffs
after meals
just like how she always think
"a dinner is not completed w/o desserts"
lol



 






















but
like how she always says
"if i can have a choice, i will be picky"
the black forest was pretty average
of course better than a few, not to mention names of places here
but hyatt was not famous for their black forest in the first place








and if hyatt wasnt famous for their black forest
what are they famous for?












cheesecake.

as we reached pretty late
what was available for the range of cheesecake was left with strawberry cheesecake
which is what missus will die for can!
lol
this strawberry cheesecake was topped with generous big big enormous strawberries
with a lil lemon taste in the cheesecake
what makes a good cheesecake is not just the taste of the cheesecake
but also the texture of the cheesecake
and the biscuit layer of the cheesecake
finally having the hyatt cheesecake
i understand why they are FAMOUS for their cheesecakes
lol














saturday n sunday was spent dancing
n we had our first "full dress" rehearsal at telok ayer CC
*i nd to master how to do my promenade properly
boooo!







James delivered herbal tea n panadol to my doorstep
after knowing i oh so sick on sunday
*thank you*









met irvin up before my rehearsal to have dinner at Fishermen's Wharf






































had chicken n fish
n button mushroom
wasnt really up to my expectations
maybe because i cant really taste much on sunday yet







missus recovered from her throat inflammation, fever n backache on monday
monday was spent at home because of the rain that rained sharks n dinosaurs
gor gor's fren came over to help me "fix" my early-received-christmas-present
but to no avalid
=(
i went for night jogging
which made me feel so much better
although my sis says i looked freaking pale
boooo~
n missus did her 3km knowing she still can do another 1km

wahahaha
but just that i havent got all the pics loaded up
n wanted to complete e xmas gift entry first!
but no worries
that also mean i have alot of newer post
waiting to be posted up

p.s at least i know marmalade pantry have to-die-for blueberry cheesecake n hyatt has my strawberry cheesecake

i think this is farking hilarious can!!!!

 

i think my life's getting a bit boring

i think i've been going out for dinner and all these so much
that i'm kind of lazy to go out these days
that explains the lack of post *mynameishazel*
lol

this is just a quick update

before my dear miss hazel starts nagging at me

this post is really damn long ago la

i saved it in the draft for so long but havent got time to update

partly because work was busy also

 

 

anyway

i had my beef noodle at liang seah street after so long!

it's so nice to have a bowl of hot soup, slightly spicy on a rainy weather on a sunday

 

 

 

 

then to ah chew dessert house

how can we missed that out since they're just opposite where i was having dinner?!?!

now they have two shops side by side

that means more seating places

n in celebration on me passing my FTT

boss decided to have a mini celebration!

thus we ordered sakae

i think they are addicted to sakae these days cause we had that when i pass my BTT also

the total bill for just 3 pax rounds up to 100 bucks!!!

can u imagine how much more food we have

saturday - 181008

met james at amk hub for newyorknewyork on saturday
it was a day that i wasnt at work
i swear it's so god damn good to be lazing on the bed when the clock strikes past 8am
working 5.5 days a week is so bohooo~ la
anyway
i cant sleep much too
cause i'm used to waking up at 7 on 6 days in a week already
but i'm not used to having breakfast at 10am
thus it became more like a brunch before i had ballet














































i think the closing down of A & W makes me craves for root beer float
that i'll always ended up having root beer float at newyorknewyork
but
partly because the glass is SO SO big
i always ended up sharing it with my friends
which i remembered
it was never finished, despite it was shared between my friend n i
lol











































mudpie with ice cream was for the missus
it taste so much different from the last time i had it with miss OL n yang la
it was so much nicer then
bohooo~

who rushed his way down after a tennis meeting
it was a super short lunch as we met at about 115pm
n we left at 200pm cause i've got ballet at 230

i think the mudpie makes me work so much harder in class
